The lady is very scrupulous about her personal information shared in the public. And thus none of the info about her wedding is disclosed to the public.

On the other hand, she is enjoying an affluent life with her new husband. Instead of showing up at a remote monastery as she was reported to have been sent to a monastery by her ex-husband, she appears to be living an opulent life in a villa located in Europe with her husband.

Lyudmila's Past Relationship

Before getting hitched on with Artur, the 59-year-old joined in wedlock with the current President of Russia, Vladimir Putin on 28th July,1983

Lyudmila was working as a flight attendant for the Kaliningrad branch of Aeroflot in her early 20's. The now-president was a Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) operative when the two got engaged.

They first met in their hometown of Leningrad, now St. Petersburg, in the early 1980s and married in 1983. A mutual friend introduced them to each other.

The former pair shares two daughters, Yekaterina Putina and Maria Putina are her two children. Excellent at masking information about himself and his close ones, Vladimir had hidden all information about their offsprings.

He made such efforts to shield his children from the spotlight, which even led many to question whether he has any kids or not. However, he was quite open about his marriage life as the duo used to visit various places together. On June 6, 2013, the President and his wife attended a performance of the ballet “La Esmeralda” at the State Kremlin Palace.

After 30 years of Martial relationship with the Russian President, it eventually came to an end. The couple made their divorce public through the reporters during the intermission of the performance.

When the reporters questioned Lyudmila about the reason behind their divorce, she stated," Vladimir Vladimirovich is completely submerged in his work. Our children have grown up ... And I truly don't like publicity." Seems all she wanted was some love and time from her husband which obviously did not work out with the President of Russia.
