Matter of fact, Vincent was unemployed when she lost her beloved ones and to find solace, the reality star only kept eating. She ate so much that she started to feel and look huge. And, it was only after she learned of the reality show through her sister who was a fan of it.
Of course, when suggested by her sister to join the show, Vincent remained reluctant. It was only after witnessing the results of the Biggest Loser's season third winner who lost a whopping of 200 Ibs, that she decided to give in. And, the rest is history.
Journey on the Biggest Loser
Ali Vincent trained with her partner, Jillian Michaels. Whilst losing weight is not easy in its first place, her journey on the show was far from hard, especially when her trainer was super strict. Both Vincent and her mother were eliminated in the fourth weeks.

Their bad luck didn't end at all. Because the good news was that she and her mom lost 73 Ibs altogether. As a matter of fact, when the show gave a chance to welcome back the eliminated contestants, Vincent was the lucky one.
Interestingly, when Ali left home for the show again, she told her mom that she was going to be the first female participants to win the show.

A diet plan is largely the most important part of the show to lose weight. Without a proper and healthy diet, shedding extra pounds is almost impossible. Well, what did Vincent consumed?
Soon after acquiring her place in the show, Vincent added more healthy food such as fresh vegetables, low-fat dairy, whole grains, and meats to her diet plan. All the junk food list was cut off from her fridge.
Vincent was focused on some of her toxic habits such as taking high-calorie drinks and fast food every minute she had a break because she was working non-stop as a hairdresser. The reality star managed her time and enjoy a healthy meal.
After over months of sacrifices and hard work, Ali Vincent lost half of her size. Vincent weighed 234 Ibs when she entered the show and walked out of the show in 2008 losing a bulky amount of 122 Ibs.
Vincent Gains Weight Following A Sexual Abuse Trauma
In October 2016, Ali Vincent revealed shocking information when she appeared on Oprah: Where Are They Now? that she was sexually abused during a massage session in 2015 right before she was getting ready for her wedding with girlfriend turned wife, Jennifer Krusing.

Unable to cope with the trauma led by the abuse, Vincent went full circle and was non stop eating and drinking. And by the time of the eight-year anniversary of her winning the show, she was near to the size of her original weight before she applied the Biggest Loser.
After a year and a half of dealing with the experience, Vincent was ready to face her trauma rather than distracting herself from it. She realized how much of a power it took from her and decided to let it stop. Today, on the bright side, Ali Vincent is working whilst motivating others around her on the same journey as her.
